Frequently asked questions

What can I keep in MyDigi?

You can organise appliances, electronics, vehicles, gadgets, furniture and other products. Each product can have purchase details, warranty dates, expenses and attached records.

How does the bill scanner work?

On Android and iOS, choose the camera or a photo from your gallery. MyDigi reads English and Latin-script text on the device, then opens an editable form. Review the detected details, fill in anything missing and confirm the amount before saving.

Can the scanner read Hindi bills?

The current bill recogniser reads Latin-script text. Hindi-script recognition is not enabled. You can still save a bill photo and enter its details manually. The app interface itself supports Hindi.

Are my bill photos backed up to the cloud?

No. Bill photos are stored on your device and belong to the active account or guest profile. They remain after restarting the app, but clearing app data or uninstalling it removes them. Keep a separate copy of important bills.

What if my bill has more than one product?

Check the product amount carefully before saving. MyDigi marks the bill total for review when it detects multiple products, so you can use the amount that belongs to the product you are adding.

Does MyDigi extend my warranty or submit a manufacturer claim?

MyDigi helps you organise warranty dates and track claim records. It does not extend the manufacturer’s warranty. Contact the manufacturer or service provider for eligibility, claim submission and service arrangements.

How do I change the language or theme?

Open the app’s More / Settings area to switch between English and Hindi, or choose a light or dark theme.

Does scanning work on desktop or web?

Automatic bill text recognition is available on Android and iOS. On desktop and the Flutter web app, you can save bill photos and enter the details manually. This website introduces MyDigi; product records are managed in the app.

Can I try the app without signing in?

Yes. The app includes a guest option during onboarding. Guest bill photos use a separate local profile. Use an account when you want to use the app’s account features.
